MR. STRIPEY TOMATO

HEIRLOOM
This unique tomato dates back to the 1800's and was brought to Virginia from the old country by Mennonites. These huge, beefsteak-type red-and yellow-streaked fruits with high sugar content are delicious. The 1-3 pound beautiful ridge-shouldered fruits are mild-flavored and low in acid. This is a good tomato for slicing, the bi-colored slices add an interesting twist to sandwiches and salads.

This old-fashioned indeterminate variety will need a stake or tomato tower for support.
